I specialize in epistemology and biomedical ethics, focusing particularly on issues involving justification, evidence gathering, epistemic injustice, clinical ethics, and applied epistemic issues such as belief in conspiracy theories. Much of my work involves applying and defending an internalist lens in epistemology to contemporary issues, as well as applying an intersectional feminist lens to issues in epistemology and medical ethics, and the philosophy of medicine.
I am currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Richmond, where I teach courses in biomedical ethics and applied ethics, as well as Introduction to Philosophy. In my previous appointment at Wittenberg University, I taught courses in ethics, feminist philosophy, and epistemology, as well as logic and critical thinking.
